Answer : For AL 1-2 level (roughly 280–320 words)
A model composition based on Picture 1
The classroom was eerily silent, save for the rhythmic humming of the overhead fans. I had returned to retrieve my water bottle, but my feet froze mid-stride. There, lying unguarded on Mrs. Tan’s desk, was the Holy Grail of primary school: the Science Quiz Answer Key.
A surge of adrenaline spiked through my veins. My heart hammered against my ribs like a trapped bird. I knew that with one quick glance, I could secure an AL1 and finally make my parents proud. An insidious voice in my head whispered, “No one is watching. Just one peek.”
I reached out, my fingers trembling as they brushed the edge of the paper. However, as I stared at the bold print, a wave of cold dread washed over me. I remembered the disappointment in my father’s eyes the last time I had been dishonest. Integrity, he always said, was doing the right thing even when the world was looking away.
The “pre-explosion” tension in my chest was unbearable. With a sharp intake of breath, I snatched my water bottle and bolted out of the room. I had chosen the difficult right over the easy wrong. During the quiz, my hands were steady. I might not get every answer correct, but my conscience was as clear as a mountain spring.

Option 2: The AL3-4 Model Writing (Picture 1)
It was recess time and I was the only one in the classroom. I went back to take my pencil case. Suddenly, I saw a piece of paper on the teacher’s table. It was the answer key for the Science test later!
My heart started to beat very fast. I was very tempted to look at the answers. If I knew the answers, I would surely get full marks. I looked at the door to make sure no one was coming. My hands were sweaty and I felt very nervous.
Then, I thought about my teacher, Mrs. Tan. She trusted us to be honest. If I cheated, I would be a liar. I felt a big lump in my throat and my stomach felt tied in knots. I knew that cheating was wrong.
I quickly looked away from the paper and ran out to the canteen. I did not want to be tempted anymore. When the test started, I felt calm. Even though the questions were hard, I was happy because I did not cheat. I learned that having integrity is more important than getting high marks.
